Who is MetroNav?

Jens Christiansen tried adventure racing as half of “Quiet Riot” at Infiterra Sports’ March Madness in 2007.  Finishing a whopping 87th of 102, he caught the navigation sport bug.  Noticing that navigation was an area for improvement, he began attending SMOC meets with increasing frequency, eventually hosting his first orienteering meet in 2012.

Hosting, with its hours spent in the woods scouting and checking check point locations, vastly improved Jens’s navigation ability, resulting in his first AR win in 2014 at Michigan Adventure Racing’s 8 hour Epic addition. Jens’s current hobby, when he’s not doing homework, is outplacing fitter people on map-based races.
